1. Why should I even have a coach?
Your first step to getting the result you want is to either:
a) become the expert in creating your step-by-step action plan, because just going to a gym hasn't worked before, or
b) pay a professional to accelerate this process without all the pitfalls.
2. I’m averse to trying coaching because of the stigma of the “Drill Sergeant” coach. How are you better than this?
Coaching is a skill outside of “just” exercise science, program design, and movement mechanics. We’re well versed in behavioral skills adjustment, social cues, and coaching interactions skills. We train the person in front of us, without creating some fictional caricature of what a coach “should” be or what “clients expect.” So expect an experience catered to you (and if that requires some “drill sergeant,” we’ll try our best!).
3. What if I want to work out without a coach?
Freedom Fit has gym access 6-days per week for all coaching clients (which is everyone here). We don't offer an Open-Gym Only option because that rarely works for most people. We solve this problem by providing your customized program for you during your independent facility use.
4. I know I need to make this change. How do I figure out how to fit this into my busy schedule?
We only ever design training schedules and programs for your current lifestyle-- if you can only make it in once or twice per week, we will make each of those your most effective training sessions. Our programs are supposed to help you live your best life, not control your life.
5. How long until I’m ready to work out on my own?
You're always invited to work out on your own as one of our clients.
Our Intro (6 weeks) builds your foundational skills to have an arsenal of exercises to utilize in your own training—with or without us!
Your Whiteboards are your independent facility use opportunities. They’re an extension of your training program. Within 4-6 weeks we will have enough tenure together to have a solid routine, and confidence to do it without your coach. Don’t worry—our coaches are always on the floor to keep eyes on you in case you want/need the help. Otherwise, the more complex your program gets (and the more advanced you are!), the more independent you become.
6. I don't want to commit because I hate contracts. Do you make us sign contracts?
We only have an Honor Policy that you commit to uphold, as we should mutually respect each other's time. Our programs are 4-6 weeks at a time and we want to make sure we're continually earning your trust and respect. Because at the end of the day, who wants to keep working out with someone they don't like?
7. I'm not sure I want to pay this much for a gym. Why should I?
Like shoes, tires, and mattresses-- you get what you pay for. You're not going to correct years of nagging buildup in a $10 a month treadmill center. Our various programs range from $150-$960 a month, and always have a customized fitness program design approach, so it's best to visit us and make a dialogue about how best to accommodate you within our model.
8. I want to make sure Freedom Fit can accommodate my expectations, goals, and unique needs. How do I schedule a 25-45 minute visit?
You can fill out a Contact Form telling us a little about yourself, and which will be answered within 24-48 hours, with an expectation to visit within 7 days!
