Starting Freedom Fit was a childhood dream and one that came to fruition in 2015. Since then, what started as a mission to build a fitness community of every day working adults, has led to an overwhelmingly gratifying mission—to help the overlooked in fitness to a stellar training service. This means outside of the physical therapy sphere, using strength training as a pre-op, post-op, and general day-to-day maintenance for the 50+ community with orthopedic or physiological limitations.
His work with Jacob's Chance, a Richmond-based non-profit, provides sports, fitness, and social activities to children with special needs and their families. Since then, he's developed an internship program benefiting the students of VCU's Exercise Science department.
Outside of fitness, he’s served on numerous non-profit boards, is married with 3 kids, and his hobbies include reading fantasy novels and watching kung-fu movies.
